Esme popped into existence a little way down Diagon Alley away from the Leaky Cauldron. Frowning in annoyance at having missed her target, she moved closer to the pub. It was because she was running a few minutes late that she got all flustered and messed up the Apparition a little. Scanning the hordes of wizarding folk for Brandon, she realised that perhaps she should've picked out a slightly less crowded spot in the Alley to arrange to meet him. On tip-toe, she craned her head to try to see above everyone else. If only she were a few inches taller!
