After chatting with Avery and Mimi and teasing them about their unofficial "boring" club, Jackie had rushed up to her room to change into something more practical. She never considered the Hogwarts girls uniform to be practical (because what really was practical about a skirt?), and thought it would be better to slip into some jeans, which fit her quite snugly, and a soft jumper. She left her hair, combed neatly into two pigtails (also, practical in her mind as what good was bouncy fluffy hair anyways?), and took off down the stairs. She wasn't sure where Sly wanted to hang out, but if they were going pranking, she should be prepared to crawl into tight spaces, right ( ... )

He dipped his head smoothly in little Jackie's direction. Ah, wasn't she the precious little picture of pigtailed perfection? Before she could dodge out of the way, he reached out and tugged on one of them, greeting her with his familiar, "Evenin', Bit." Sly's grin quickly melted into the most feline of smirks, and he grabbed her hand. Such things were all acceptable on snog--er, dates.

As to her inquiry? "Anywhere our hearts desire!" he replied with zest, and tugged her off and down the corridor. He had absolutely no idea where they were headed, but he was positive that it didn't matter because she would be pleased with the the subject of their endeavour while the location would be forgotten. He was just that talented.

"I hope yui're ready fer th' time o' yuir life," he proclaimed as he pulled her with him, practically skipping. Oh, he was manly, but he could skip with the best of them. Especially when miracles were afoot.

Little did he know he was going about this all wrong. Even if this was a date, this was most likely not how ( ... )

It would definitely be a weird day if anyone could get the name 'Jacqueline Zhang' to rhyme with 'Lauren Dispenziere.' If Jackie had the wisdom and experience with boys like Sly as Lauren did, she would have yanked her hand away and hightailed it back to the girls dormitory. Alas, she did not, and she merely giggled at first when he tugged a pigtail. The hand-grabbing took her a little by surprise, but maybe Sly was in a rush? And they had to get wherever they were going? Well, she saw nothing wrong or remotely suspicious about hand-holding, as she had hugged Sly in the past when the guys were saying their summer good-byes (of course, if she was really paying attention, she'd probably notice how much longer Sly lingered in the hugs versus Soren, Phillip, and Grady ( ... )

Well, she hadn't opposed to the hand-holding, so all sails were set it appeared! And she seemed in an extremely good mood. But really, when wasn't she? That was always a good thing about Jack, she was purely a delight to be around, a little ball of fierce sunshine whether you liked it or not. So Sly continued tugging her merrily along, looping her arm through his as they practically broke into a gallop's pace ( ... )
