The Great Quidditch Match

It's your friendly neighborhood Sam, here to talk Quidditch.
I know a good number of you (-cough-me) weren't around to remember how Quidditch was dealt with in the olden days, so here's a quick run-down of how we'll be doing it from now on. For you oldies, it's basically the same concept! Just a little switched around.
Prior to the match, one of the mods will choose a number (1-10) and post it privately on Dumbledore's account for the other mod to see and verify. The player of the captian of both teams playing in the match will then try and guess the number. Whoever gets closest, their player's team wins (even if they don't want them to!).
NOW here's the dilemma with this week's match: both of your friendly neighborhood mods play both the captains (Steph plays the paddocks, who captain Ravenclaw, I play Bacchus, who captains Gryffindor).
SO. We're going to have one of you pick the number. We shall have you email it to another player to verify.
How do we pick who gets it?
WHOEVER POSTS ON HERE FIRST picks the number.
WHOEVER POSTS SECOND gets to verify.
