That was definitely someone singing and dancing somewhere in the hall in front of him. In fact, it sounded suspiciously like it was coming toward him closer and closer. Ranger frowned slightly as he rounded the corner, only to promptly smack into the bouncing, singing Ravenclaw. A light 'oof' left him as he fell back, landing a little smartly on his hip. He rubbed the slightly sore spot a little before surveying the mess of limbs they were now in.
Ranger helped the girl extract herself before standing to dust himself off. He made sure everything was in working order before glancing toward the girl. Ranger reached out and put a hand lightly on her shoulder, dipping his head to peer down at her. "No need to apologize. Entirely my fault. Are you alright?" Well, now that he knew HE was okay, he may as well check and make sure she was, right?
As pink as a Peep on Easter Sunday, Clover cringed as she tried haphazardly to straighten her robes, forgetting her hair altogether -- which was really a fright. Tornado!Hair, srsly. She had totally just bulldozed this poor, innocent dreamboat and he had the decency to say it was all HIS fault! Could not possibly feel more guilty or humiliated. No way.
And wait, he was... touching her!??!! ON PURPOSE?!! She gaped up at him in awe, nearly blinded by all the shoujo sparkles (eee!) and caught up momentarily in the angel choir music that followed his voice. Clover melted into the goofiest of grins, mouth still hanging open, until she remembered it was her turn to speak.
Ranger blinked at the poor girl in confusion for a second before grinning slightly and bringing his hand back to him. "Ah, maybe you bumped your head a little bit, eh? Seeing stars at all? How many fingers am I holding up?" Ranger shot up two fingers really quick before bringing them back down again. "Four? No, sorry, the answer we were looking for was two. Thanks for playing, though." Shaking his head, he crouched down and started gathering up the papers that had gone and gotten rather scattered, whistling slightly as he did so.
