Week Name/Date/Time: A Moments Peace / Thursday, October 6th, 2005/ After Dinner Location: The Library Open To: Sebastian Rivera Currently Involving: Will
Someone must have just waxed the floor or something, Sebastian thought. Right before he slid and tripped (but gallantly kept from falling) in front of the library doors. The large books he had been holding flew out of his arms and hit the floor, followed by rather obvious echoes.
Wincing, he picked them up carefully and stood up to face... Madame Pince. She graced him with her patented glare, and went about her business. Sebastian was only too happy to grace her with a nervous smile, and go about with his.
Which happened to be a nice quiet bonding time with his History of Magic book. And apparently Will, he thought as he saw the other boy already at work a few tables down. He made his way over and dropped his books on the table to get Will's attention. Perhaps a little too loudly. He could hear an irritated throat clearing behind him. Er.
"How's the studying coming then?" He whispered, sitting down carefully.
Will's head jerked up as Seb let the avalanche of books tumble to the tabletop with a loud clatter, eyebrow lifting as the throat clearing before smirking faintly at the Ravenclaw boy.
"Ah...alright, I suppose. You've gotten that new assignment in History of Magic too by now, haven't you? I swear, no one else is going to pay it the least bit of mind. I'd be shocked if half the class was awake to take note of the fact that we have actual work to do," he replied dryly, dropping his quill for the moment and brushing his hair back out of his face.
Again.
Mrrr. If he wasn't so attatched to it, he'd probably cut it all off and be done with it.
"Meh. They seem to think all we discuss is a series of perpetual Goblin Wars anyhow. I honestly can't comprehend how half of them have stayed in the clas past OWLs." Sebastian leaned back in his chair and flipped a book open. It happened to land on a passage describing the Goblin Wars of 1300, but nevermind. He made a face and looked back up at Will. He blinked once as he realized he hadn't really seen him since the weekend. Or, well. At the Hog's Head. That was odd.
"Er..." Sebastian began, trying to not ask anything about Hogsmeade. Which was difficult, as his brain seemed to be suddenly completely occupied by it. "Anything new then? Besides the, you know, watching your History of Magic class catch up on sleep. Er."
...because he totally has, at the moment, so flustered with everything else. So even Seb's attempted distraction from that subject, blatant as it was, went without notice, and Will merely shook his head.
"No...well, yes, but it's nothing to be bothered with, really," he answered quickly, in a completely vague manner, before jotting something else down on his parchment distractedly.
