((Meep. I thought Letty asked 'When' not 'What'.))

Saffron listened to them talk. Muggle studies did sound like fun, but she supposed she wouldn't have much trouble with it, what with having grown up a muggle who, if she was mad enough, turned her brother's hair blue. When she entered, she had taken a peek at what Letty had been drawing. She was a good doodler; Saffron was rather jealous, she couldn't even draw very successfully. Come to think of it, she couldn't trace either (a surprisingly easy feat that when attempted turned out horribly).

Looking up from the table she had been picking at, she gave a short smile in Dustin's direction. "Really? I'm glad." It was getting cold, and the last thing she wanted was him coming down with some sort of cold.

Saffron looked toward the door, and seeing no sign of Snape, began to busy herself with other things. She traced pink shapes onto her hands with the side of her finger nail, picked at the table, and looked at her three friends. They all seemed busy, but Saffron smiled and scratched at her hand a bit harder, making the outlines of the shapes white.

Letty turned to Juhi, "My Monday has been distinctly average really" she began as Juhi carries on her doodles for her, "I need somethign excitingly fun to happen I think. It's only, what? the fifth week, and I'm getting claustrophobic here already I think."

Letty then turned to Saffy. "You shouldn't do that to yourself" she said, trying to sound concerned, but probably just sounding bossy. Letty at least managed to have a good concerned face.

Juhi opened her mouth to tell Dustin she DID admire his devotion to Muggle Studies, but closed it quickly as he and Saffron began discussing a hat. Thinking of Erik's, she grinned. Then she remembered the OTHER hat he'd tried on, and cleared her throat to keep from laughing out loud.

She muttered under her breath to Letty, "What, cutting Transfig not exciting ENOUGH for you? Want to burn down the Slytherin common room or something?" She winked and shook her head. "You can count me out of illegal happenings, Letty Lycroft."

"Illegal happenings? You can count me in, as long as it isn't our own common room. I like the cushioned seats," Dustin joked and smiled at Juhi and Letty.

He liked potions class so far, but Snape had yet to show up, so that was probably the reason. In fact, he probably should have started to prepare for the worst. It was bound to be coming in the door in a matter of moments.

Saffron seemed to be busy doing something strange to her hands. He frowned and shook his head at her.

"You shouldn't do that! Doesn't it hurt?" he asked her with concern.

"I can't think what you're talking about Juhi!" Letty replied "surely you're not implying that I am anythign other than the perfect student?" she gave a sly grin to her friend then turned to Dustin.

"Oh our common room is pretty cool, I don't think we should hog it all to ourselves!"

Saffron looked at all of them, shaking her head. She was hardly a risk taker. In fact, in most situations, she weighted all the options and decided to not go with any of them; there was always option Extra: Go to the library and learn a new charm.

She nearly fell right out of her seat when Letty caught her. "I uh..," honestly she didn't know what and put her hands safely in her lap. When Dustin called her on it as well, she looked embarrassed. "It doesn't hurt," Saffron said quickly, before adding, "It's only my nail, and..ahh." Nothing she had to say seemed good enough, and she decided to remark on Letty. "Could you just..take a swim or something?" If need be, should could conjure a proper bath tube. Until she was too tall (and old) that's mostly where she swam anyway. "I don't want any of you getting in trouble, Juhi's got the right idea."

If only potions were like this every class, no Snape, no brewing, just talking. What a wonderful waste (except not a waste) of a class. She glanced at the door and cringed; Snape would be sweeping through the room at any moment, snatch points from their house and begin probably a very harsh lesson. At least they were not Gryffindors.

"A bath eh?" Letty pondered this for a moment.

"I'll tell you what we do need though, a water fight!" Letty began to get excited at her own idea. "Seriously, it would be really cool, only Aguamenti allowed. We should do it before it gets too cold..."

A magical water fight is not something Letty had ever imagined before, but the idea sounded pretty good...
