Soren nodded back to Bran, “You all right there, mate?” He stopped at the door and watched his friend until he was back and balanced on his feet before entering the little drinking tavern.
The lightning was quite dim inside, but since Soren had just come in from the bright outdoors, the place seemed even darker. It was quiet too, but he decided that it was probably because the day was still young and it was only the early afternoon. He held the door open for Bran behind him and then choose a nice deserted corner with plenty of seating space, a little further away from the older patrons of the tavern.
He turned to the owner behind the counter as he passed by and placed an order, “Uh.. Butterbeer, please. Lots of it.” They would probably not be able to stay long if no one ordered anything off from the menu. He just hoped they didn’t use a ‘special formula’ at Hog’s Head for the Butterbeer, it wouldn’t be a good thing if everyone was whoozy and drunk during the sign up meeting.
Soren unslung his bag from over his shoulder and laid it carefully on the table in front of him before sitting down. He was mindful not to drop the bag right onto the table since, whether the galleons were fake or not, the clinking sound of money would undoubtedly draw on the eyes of everyone in the room. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to face that sort of company so early in the day.
“So, figure everyone will find their way here eventually?” He posed a question at his friend.
[ooc; I emailed Bunny and she told me to assume that Harry sent him mail with the procedures used back in his day, the signing and the galleons. So yes, ignore that little bit I wrote in the last tag about Soren not getting anything then. ^^]
