A deafening blast of thunder shook Luciano awake. He had, not for the first time, fallen asleep on a book. This, he thought, was quite tragic because it had been a very good book. Luciano was curled into a small nook in the library. His face was pressed against the glass of the window, as he watched the storm progress. The rain was falling harder than it had been the last time he checked, raindrops sliding down the window as if they were racing. Once in a while the entire grounds would be illuminated by a brilliant flash of lightening. He shivered with excitement; this would be the perfect setting for a horror film!
His lips curled into a half smile as he returned to his book, rubbing his eyes tiredly. It had been a long, abysmal day of classes. First potions, which was just embarrassing, and then transfiguration- which wasn't any better. Mondays just weren’t his days.
One more chapter, he promised, and then he would go finish his work.
