Andy knocked on the door lightly. It was a nice looking door, the polished wood shimmered as if it had just been varnished. He hoped Mac was in, he'd already checked the grounds and the staff room and found no sign of his favourite professor. He didn't know where else he could look if Mac wasn't in here. Andy desperately wanted company. Not the sort Brinley could provide, not the sort he'd find in fighting someone. He might have turned to Lou had she not been the reason he needed to talk. He couldn't talk to Fi, no, that was definitely not an option. Not Lou's best friend, it wasn't fair. There was no one else besides Mac who he confided in, so Mac it was.
He knocked again. "Professor, you in?"
