It wasn't at all unpredictable that Liesel Spurling would spend most of her time in the library during the days after her friend and roommate's disappearance and death. Well, it would been unsurprising anyway, but it was especially so when she was grieving. It was what she did, after all. When her goldfish died she spent the entire day doing math problems. It wasn't the healthiest way of coping, but it was a productive one, in her opinion.
She was working on her Arithmancy essay. Most of her professors had told her not to worry about her work, but that didn't matter to her. She was going to get an O on this she was. But her thoughts were drifting to Lina, to Georgiana, to CJ. She closed her book and looked at the table, examining the wood.
