Niki, of course, was the first to arrive. It was good to be fashionably late, but that was unnecessary. Spotting the familiar figure in the centre of the room, she let a wide smile pass over her face before she let it settle into a smirk. It was Iago!

"Iago, dearest," Niki said, placing the immacuately wrapped gift on the table. He would be absolutley thrilled with what she had given him, Niki was sure. "Lovely to be here."

Iago stood up as Niki entered, giving her a small peck on the cheek, in greeting. "Niki, dearest, glad you could make it."

He eyed the present, but then looked back to Niki. "Won't you sit down?" He offered her the chair closest to him, and then took his own seat. "Shall we wait for the others, or get started?"

As Iago went for Niki's cheek, she went for his other as well. Placing a soft kiss on it, she drew back, and let one hand slide down his arm. "Oh, of course," she replied, and sat in the chair he offered. She glanced around the shop, as she'd only been in there once or twice before, then turned her attention back to Iago. "Who else is coming?" She asked, chewing on her bottom lip softly.

Why did he make her go all gooey inside?

"Well, I invited Preston, Wes, Ophelia, and Emilia. Of course, its very likely that they won't show up." Iago studied the girl. Very attractive, that was for sure. She had always been. Of course, Iago, who was usually anti-social, didn't really notice until now. He nodded to Madam Rosemerta, and she brung them two butterbears. "So, how've you been. I've not really seen you much this year....hiding in a dark alleyway?" He winked.
