Amelia plopped down on the couch, her books falling everywhere.
"Aw, crap!" She muttered as she bent down to pick up the books that were strewn on the floor, their pages open and bent.
Once the books were all gathered, she continued looking through her books, she needed to study, re-vamp her brain after the somnolent summer. Her pen scratched her notebook papers, frantically scribbling away and constantly turning pages for about an hour or so. Amelia keep blinking her eyes, she was pooped! She slowly closed her book and rubbed her eyes with her hands. They stinged a wee bit. Sliding down on the couch, her eyes brooding thinking of her deceased mother. But quickly snapped out of her state of mind when she heard someone talking in the common room.
She looked up and saw 2 older Gryff's chatting away in front of the fireplace, they seemed to be talking about quidditch. Ah, she needed someone to talk to, she was going crazy from her studying stint.
