"Oi! Fi!" she called at her. "Hope you're ready to pound those Slytherins at Quidditch this year!" Esme had been practising over the summer and was very keen that schoolwork or anything else was not going to get in her way this year. NEWTS? Pshaw. Quidditch? HELL YES.

Fi was horridly excited about Quidditch that year! She had finally decided to take the plunge and join the team. Despite her being tops at Seeking, every time she had thought about joining, she'd hear Keary's voice in her head.. mocking Quidditch players, telling her she was too good for that rubbish, etc. It only worsened when he died, but apparently now? She was glad to have Fi on the team this year. She'd flown with the younger girl before and knew her to be a good player and those were always welcome on the Gryffindor team. "Welcome to the team, by the way!" Punching a fist into the air, Esme cheered "Go go Gryffndor!"

Grinning, she batted her free hand in the air. "Oh, no worries of that, mate! I'll have th' snitch 'fore ye can say 'MERLINS SOCKS'." Not that people regularly said that. Or that Fi did. Ohhhh no, yeah, Fi's dedication to not acting like an over-excited six-year-old with a lolly was not going well. She was practically bouncing in place, she was so bloody excited over it all.
Blimey.
"Thank ye!" she replied, face absolutely breaking with excitement as she formed a fist with said free hand and brought it up to her chest. "I can't bleedin' wait, ye know! FOR GREGORIOUS!"
