His jaw dropped in mock shock at her words. "Strange? Moi? My dear, I am afraid that you are quite mistaken," he answered, giving an indignant humph. "I am perfectly normal, thank you very much." Of course, being normal was incredibly overrated but as was being serious; teasing her was far much more fun.

"Hmmm, will I though?" he asked thoughtfully, pursing his lips. "No, I won't miss you at all," he concluded, nodding to emphasize his point. "I have a bit of a confession to make," he continued sheepishly. "I only liked you for your dancing. And possibly your hair." No, Caine WASN'T the largest ponce ever. Dancing was FUN- even if a rock had more rhythm than he did- and her hair was just so red and ridiculously attractive.

After a moment's pause, he forged onward. "I hate to break it to you but there was no emotional attachment to you." He smirked at her, but it wasn't a gesture he used often so it soon lapsed into his usual grin.

"Fine, fine. I'll miss you TERRIBLY," he told her honestly, nudging her in the side. His smile faltered for a moment as he realized how much he would miss her- even if they didn’t talk too often, she had always been fun- but the grin returned as he reminded himself that this most likely wouldn’t be the last time he’d see her.

"HA," she laughed in response. "I am never mistaken, sorry to tell you." Not that Andi was all that normal either. A Slytherin flirting with a Gryffindor? No, she was quite unusual herself. But not that it mattered, as their talk was all in good fun.

Listening to him ponder whether he'll miss her or not, she turned down the sides of her mouth, forming a fake pout. A glint of amusement sparkled in her eyes though, hearing his words. "Really then? I suppose it could be worse. I am a good dancer afterall." She couldn't keep a straight face anymore, and ended up breaking into a small fit of giggles.

"I do suppose I only liked you for your humour. And maybe your eyes." She smiled. Eyes were always her favourite feature on a person.

"I knew it!" she declared, pleased with herself. Then, after a moment she added, "Do make sure we see each other again, yeah?"

((sorry for not replying yesterday; I wasn't feeling too well))

Yeah, she certainly wasn't normal either! Granted, Caine didn't really REALIZE that she was flirting with him because he was dense like that but it was weird enough that she was talking to him. Eh, maybe that's why he liked her. The normal, typical Slytherins tended to be very little fun.

"You ARE," he agreed, nodding. "And at least I didn't say that I liked you for you, I dunno... Something else." Actually he could think of a few things that a cruder bloke than he could have said but that sort of thing was better left unsaid.

Her laughter seemed to be contagious though as he soon found himself grinning and doing his best to hold back his own laughter. "Hmmmm." He seemed to be considering her answer but his was unable to keep a serious expression on for too long. "I'm okay with that. It's nice to know that we're both oh so superficial. Now that we've gotten THAT out of the way... "

He looked genuinely surprised though when she reminded him to keep in touch. "You really have to ASK?" he teased, hands on hips in a mock disapproving manner. "Of course. That should have gone without saying."

((totally fine! glad you're feeling better!))

Andi often found herself flirting with boys who weren't aware of the fact that she was flirting at all. Not that she minded. It actually made it all the more fun that the bloke didn't know what he was getting into.

She would have been very pleased to hear that he didn't think she was a typical Snake, as she had struggled with that most of school. Thinking on her other Slytherin friends, she had the hilarious thought that Adriana would probably pass out if she saw how friendly Andi was with so many Lions.

Smiling in amusement, she tilted her head. His 'shallow' remark had her biting back giggles yet again. "Nothing wrong with being shallow," she replied in a tone that would have passed for serious if she hadn't been grinning so much.

"And YES, I have to ask. Never know with you testosterone types." She wore a satisfied look however, pleased that she'd gotten him to commit to something, even if she didn't really know what.

"So," she began again. "Just what are you going to do with yourself after leaving this place?"
