Esme was wading her way along a crowded corridor. It had been empty a second ago but now there was a huge wave of lower-year students all running in the opposite direction to her. Swearing under her breath at the little snots, she pushed her way past a boy with particulaly sharp elbows.
Suddenly, someone stood on the back of her rather large robes and she tripped over. Landing on the floor with her books all over the place, she watched with no surprise as the gaggle streamed off regardless, leaving her looking like a fool sitting in the middle of an almost-empty corridor with papers all over the place. Well wasn't that great!
