Wish granted.

Scooting around a corner, looking as disheveled as ever, one Will Sparrow appeared, darting a glance over his shoulder before pulling to a halt, dusting himself off lightly. Right then. Running into Peeves in tight quarters was never, ever a good idea...

He seemed to brighten, though, on catching sight of a familiar face walking idly through the corridors, up ahead. The hallway was empty, and therefore safe, and Will grinned and lifted his hand in a wave to Arisu, whom he hadn't had the chance to talk with properly in AGES.

No, classes did not count.

Ari looked up curiously as she heard someone round the corner and walk towards her. Her dark eyes lit up upon recognizing her friend and she bounded towards him. She practically threw herself at him as she hugged him, acting as if she hadn't seen him in years. Actually, they saw each other quite often in classes but that was besides the point.

A moment later, she released the boy and took a step back to survey. "Will, how are you?" she exclaimed. "I haven't seen you in forever! I was beginning to think you were avoiding me." Her lips twisted into a pout at this comment as she feigned a look of hurt but she soon broke into a wide grin.

GACK!

It was a good thing he was used to this, by now...Arisu's enthusiastic glomp earned her a faint chuckle and a pat on the back. He was pleased to see her, obviously enough, but he was relieved, too, when she decided to release him, leaving him a bit mroe ruffled looking than he'd been moments before.

"Ah, nothing of the sort! How could you even think that?" he replied in equally hurt tones, before chuckling again and waving a hand dismissively. "No, just that the first few weeks of school are the most hectic, isn't it? Them and exam week. But I don't even want to THINK about that just yet."

She nodded enthusiastically at this. "Yeah, these past few weeks have been horrible," she responded, making of face. Of course, nothing had really happened to her so she really couldn't complain. "ew, exams. Well, they're a long way off so no need to further discuss them," she added, giving a short nod as if to emphasize her point.

"Oh, right. I finally figured out who it was you were talking about," she told him, seeing no need to be more specific. She flashed him another smile, looking thoroughly pleased with herself. He didn't need to know that the girl in question practically had to spell it out for her. "So how was your date?" She had heard this through the grapevine and she was horribly disappointed that she didn't have a chance to ask either Will or Shihoko about it until now.

Now this was what Ari liked to talk about. Intelligent conversation was incredibly overrated in her book and her friends' social lives were far more interesting. It was obvious that Ari would never survive in Ravenclaw.
