Rae was having a slight dilemma, which was not helping her mood at all. First, she had nothing to do. All of her homework had been done during her study hall and there was no class at the moment. It was a bit of a problem, but that was nothing compared to the real problem that was going through her head.
There was no one to gossip with!
Technically that wasn't correct, seeing as there were plenty of people in Hogwarts that she could spread rumors about or to with just a bit of conversation. No what she meant was that she didn't have as many of her gossip buddies as she had had before. While it was horrid when she had to be pleasant and act nice to the garbage that was around the halls, the end result always ended up being a satisfying new scoop. Now? There were a few people that she could gossip with that actually enjoyed the gossip and kept up with it. Cue in annoyed sigh.
That was what she was doing now though, scouting for some filthy little gossipers that she could gain a bit of information from. It would be better to do it during lunch, but she had been preoccupied with actual intelligent conversation. So that left her walking through the corridors, slowly analyzing the people that passed her by.
