Well, Professor Alison Farbanks was just the random person to walk by! As a matter of fact, she was rather fond of walking by students, especially ones like Cady, who did very well in her class, were in Gryffindor, and a little crazy, just like herself! So, it just had to be fate that she walked by that random alcove that day. Had to be!

She stopped just short of Cady and eyed the book she was reading. MERLIN! It was her textbook! Alison would have had a stroke if a stroke would have been possible to have. Not many students would be sitting in an alcove reading a text book, after all. Not when wizarding and muggle magazines alike seemed to be much more prone to hold their attention.

"Oy, Cadence. Reading a text book? Must say I'm proud." She chuckled slightly and walked level with the girl, smiling.
