Week Name/Date/Time: Keep Your Friends Close/Friday, 24 March 2006/ 10:01 PM
Location: (Corridor to) Kitchens
Open To: Thatcher, Hanna
Currently Involving: Merlin

Merlin Patrick Flanagan was feeling light on his feet this evening. It had been a grand day, to describe it with much enchantment and enthusiasm. First he'd actually managed to enjoy his classes, then he'd gotten to watch Connor receive a howler from their mother for using his cauldron in a magic experiment gone awry, and then he'd purposely spent hours lying upon Ben's bed instead of his own when reading his current favourite in Shakespearean plays. And when he'd decided enough was enough of that, he'd grabbed the pillow and thrown it onto his own bed. This was how friendship's worked, in Merlin's mind. It was fine if they ended up screaming at each other shirtless in the common room again. Merry had the better abs, thank you. Har har.

He was finishing the day by sneaking out after curfew by one whole minute in order to grab a snack from the kitchens. Such an adventure, as Erik Cohen had called it before Merry left, was certainly worthy of the 'Rocky Road to Dublin' he was humming as he walked. OH ROCKY ROAD WAS AN ICE CREAM.

Even better!
