Week Name/Date/Time: "Meeting of the Minds"/ Monday, September 26, 2005/ 5 P.M. Location: Empty Muggle Studies Classroom Open To: Niamh Currently Involving: Mason
When Mason had passed her that note in the hallway, Niamh had been nervous about what it could be about. She was worried he was mad at her, or that he still wanted to plan for the prank on Erik. She didn't think he would, since Erik was his friend, but she wasn't sure.
When it was just before 5, she made her way towards the Muggle Studies classroom. Since she didn't know where it was, she had to ask an older student for directions (a Hufflepuff; she'd made sure not to ask anyone that might have been a Slytherin.) Which meant she was running a little late.
When she reached the door, she slowly pulled it open and peered inside, an anxious expression on her face, "Mason? A-are you here?" She stepped inside and looked around, not seeing the older boy sitting at one of the desks.
Mason stood up as Niamh entered. "Yeah, Niamh, I'm here. How are you? I heard you went to visit Erik?" Mason sat back down, shaking his head. "He's not doing so good."
Niamh almost jumped in surprise at the sound of Mason's voice. She turned quickly to face him, "Oh, I-I'm okay. Yeah, I did. I..." she looked down at her feet, "Yeah, he looked really bad." She cringed, thinking of the uncomfortable visit to the hosiptal wing. Just thinking about it brought back all the bad feelings again and she felt an urge to start crying again.
She quickly forced the tears back, "You wanted to see me for something?" she asked, keeping her eyes on the floor, not sure she could look him in the eye.
Mason went over to Niamh and put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Well, I'm sure he is going to pull through, but did you see the Prophet this morning?"
