James walked slowly down the stairs into the common room. Herbology had finished just under a half hour ago and he'd spent the last 15 minutes of his life under a hot shower. He had to be sure to get all the dirt off. His hair was still wet and when he sat down a cold drop of water ran down his back, causing him to shudder.
The common room was full of first years just back from their DADA class. Or so James presumed. He was sure he'd overheard one kid blathering on about the professor. It always amazed James just how vocal the littles in the school could be. Always getting in trouble...he smirked slightly, shifting his weight in order to look out over the crowd. Was that brat of a girl he'd met yesterday with them?
