Jackie was ecstatic. She was so happy, most people would probably think she had too much sugar and caffeine (or perhaps she was actually Arisu Ryusaki in disguise, who polyjuiced herself to look like Jackie, although that thought would be quickly dismissed as no one would believe it in a million years). School was starting soon, membership in the Club was growing, and she was friends with Gabe Lucas again. Yes, despite all the downs she had faced - many of her friends leaving for various reasons and the seriousness of the war looming close by - she chose to stay positive and happy. And she was!
So much so, that she had owled Adrien Bennet of all people and asked him to meet her in an empty classroom where they could talk alone. Not that Adrien was a friend or anything; maybe some would think his status in her life would change since many of her own close friends had departed, but it hadn't. Adrien was still some crazed mixed-up bluntly honest and open person in her life; she cared about him -naturally- as she would care about any human being... but she didn't even know if they were friends. The relationship still confused her, but that didn't matter. She wanted to tell him her good news, and give him a belated Christmas gift. She figured that yes -- even an insane sorta-friend who wasn't an enemy deserved a Christmas gift.
As he had done before, she plopped herself on a desk and watched the door, waiting for him to arrive. Hopefully, his holidays were good too! Although a cranky Adrien wouldn't spoil her mood... too badly.
