Lovely weather, really. No snow or ice or anything. Just a bit of a chill and a nice breeze, really. It made his tracky bottoms look even better as he sprinted about the grounds, kicking a football about. His first ( Read more... )

Tal, meanwhile, was watching Troy from a vantage point that she had next to the bench that he was using as part of his goal. Leaning against a tree, she quirked her eyebrow at the sight of the goal that he'd made. She couldn't have cared less about the bottoms that he was wearing, but the way that he slide to his knees and yelled? That was just a little amusing.

Of course, since the ball had come toward her, she had to go get it. It was something of a requirement or something -- a ball comes toward Tal, she has to play with it. It was the nature of her, in her blood or something.

"Hey, Trixy!" She didn't care if that was his name or not; she knew it started with a T, and that was about all that mattered. "Open for a little competition?"

Granted, it wouldn't be much competition, at least in her mind. She felt that she was quite talented when it came to football, so she had no problem believing that she would wipe him through the dirt.

Just before Troy himself was about to burst out in song, and perhaps even jog about his 'field' a bit, pumping his fists, he heard a voice. A girl voice. a GIRL?! His heart jumped and he stood up, grin wide as ever, brown eyes darting about the place. Thankfully, he found the bird he was looking for ( ... )

((...HAHAHAHAHA! OH HOW I LOVE YOU TROY!))

Oh bloody hell.

She should have expected him to be bouncy or... cheerful... or whatever the bloody hell he was, from the way that he'd fallen to his knees and yelled like that. Tal knew that she'd have been much better off with ignoring him and continuing on her way.

Too bad that wasn't an option anymore. Besides, she was still looking for a little game -- she hadn't played footie in far too long for her tastes. So she sucked it up and rolled her eyes as he swaggered to her.

Nickname, meaning that she hadn't pinned his name. Oh well.

But the moment that the words 'hot Slytherin girl' came out of his lips, she snorted. Loudly. "You've got to be kidding." She pushed herself away from the tree and crossed her arms, stepping toward him with her eyebrow still raised. "Or else insane."

Fine. He wanted to know her name, though she didn't know his? Shrugging and letting her arms drop to her sides, she added warily, "Tal."

Bouncy? Cheery? When was Troy not those two things? Well, there were times when he messed up on the pitch during a game and cursed loudly, frowning, being a mardy bum and then maybe crying if he lost them the match, but being bouncy and cheery made up for that! And ignoring? Who in their right mind WOULD ignore him? Why, the way Troy saw himself, the mere rocks and stones on the ground would follow him about the place if they could ( ... )
