Astrid was more than pleased. She sat in the common room, smiling over her newest acquired posessions. Some new clothes, always good to have around. And her mother had sent her a silver set, brush, comb, and hand mirror, that had been passed down from generation to generation. She couldn't wait to come home for the holidays, and spend time with her family. Her family was very excited that Isaac was coming with her, and said just that in the letter they sent along with their gifts.
Mirror in hand, she began to brush her long hair, and she just kept admiring herself. She wasn't vain. No way.
