It was especially quiet in the common room today, yet it was perfect for Isaac to draw and think. The only thing he could end up thinking about was Astrid and the incident between them, so naturally, the only thing he could end up drawing was something about her. In fact, it was more than just about her. It was about himself as well. He had drawn Astrid so many times that he had her every feature, every expression, every face that she had made down to a science. The harder part was drawing himself, which was what he had begun to start with. Some features, of course, would be exaggerated, such as his nose or his eyebrows, but then he would find his imperfections and try to correct them to make them even more precise. He could have had charmed his drawing tools to fix his mistakes for him but where would the fun in it be if he couldn't draw out everything himself?
Isaac was so concentrated, as always when he was drawing or writing something of importance to his creative nature, if anyone was paying him any attention enough to notice, not that he cared any. He was being completely oblivious to his surroundings in the common room. All voices had seemed to fade, if there were any at all, and all movements around him were blocked by his straight vision down to the parchment in his dark brown, leather portfolio and it were like he had no ability to use his peirpheral vision. He was in his own world now, and nothing could really break his concentration, other than speaking to him directly.
