Week Name/Date/Time: 'Settling Down'/Friday, November 25th, 2005/8:19pm
Location: Grounds
Open to: JORY!
Currently Involving: Saffron and Jory

It was rather early, but Saffron had been going to bed earlier and earlier and today eight in the morning didn't seem unreasonable. Plus, if they wanted to get a proper place to play about in, they had to get out there early. She had been bubbling with enthusiasm since seven, but she tried to wait for him in the common room until he got up. Patience was not something she had a lot of, but luckily for him, she saved all of it for Jory. He always took his time to do everything, and it was bloody grueling for her. As it ticked closer to eight, she couldn't wait any longer and she found herself storming into his dorm. For a reason she couldn't put her finger on, Saffron's feelings had diminished considerably, and she wasn't quite as worried about angering him any longer. He always got ever it, after all. Upon rousing the quite grumpy Jory, Saffron practically ripped him out of bed, force him to put a proper jacket, hat, boots, and mittens on. Also, she had a pair of pants for him to wear that would keep his knees and bottom try while they made their fort.

Now, standing outside, or rather skipping about outside, Saffron was completely refreshed. Sure the sun wasn't really shining and the cold wind burned her sinuses, but this was the first snow and they were building a snow fort. Usually, Garier made the fort with her, being an expert in all,  but this year he was gone. Jory seemed like a brilliant substitue, and it was time for her to pass all the knowledge she had gotten from Garier on to Jory.

Shovel in hand, she peered over the grounds trying to find a good place. Turning to look back at Jory, who she had given a shovel, she yelled with joy, "Come on ye' slow poke! Get the bleed'n lead out!" Spotting the perfect spot, Saffron practically ran over to the mound of snow and began working away busily. It needed to be bigger if both of them were going to be sitting in it, after all.

After a minute or two, she took a step back to marvel at her handy work. So far it was only a mound, but soon it would be sculpted into a beautiful fort. A fort so wonderful that anyone messed with it, they would regret being born. Saffron and her snow forts were not to be messed with. "Jooooooryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy," she called again in his direction, not sure where he was.
