"Well, it would give me summat to do, now wouldn't it?" she joked. "Psh, but I don't have the energy to put together a li'l club. The Flying Club. Well, there is a dueling club, but. . ." she shrugged. Avis was always getting these grand ideas and then never following up with them. It was better to daydream, anyway.

She looked at him incredulously, but tried to hide it. Who in the world would be afraid of Connelly?! Meh, unimportant, she thought, and passed it aside. Perhaps that's what Ben wanted everyone to believe. Still, she smirked a bit, knowing that she may have been the only one to know otherwise.

"I think you're a regular height. Would you rather be insanely tall? And all gangly and trip all over yourself? And bump your head on doors? Nah, man, you're a fine height. Besides, then the blasted sweater can double as a blanket. Or a poncho or summat."

Mid-yawn, she stopped, a bit embarrassed, worried he would think she was bored or something similar. "No!" she shook her head groggily. "Just that three o'clock tired time of day." Laughing to herself, she said, "Oy, I'm like a toddler, with all these afternoon naps. Embarrassing, really."
