Week Name/Date/Time: 'Lost and Found' / Wednesday 16th November 2005 / After DADA Location: Outside the DADA room Open To: Lauren Currently Involving: Rae
Ha! If Rae wanted to be the top of her class, she was going to have to work extra hard -- Defense Against the Dark Arts was one of Lauren's best classes. It helped that they had such a nice looking professor... sometimes she might get distracted with staring up at him, but most the time, she was able to learn the lesson quite well, and master it with ease.
She knew, as well, that Rae and her had quite the competitive streak with these classes. They were generally good at the same subjects, it had always been interesting to see who came up on top.
This day, was no exception.
"You're the one who bumped into me," She said calmly, rolling her eyes. She wasn't very much in the mood for dealing with another Slytherin. Handling Jonathan Kincaid earlier in the week had been enough for a lifetime. "So I believe you owe me the apology this time."
Rae raised an eyebrow with practiced grace and her lips pursed in irritation. "Apologize? To you?" She laughed right in Lauren's face, because really it was obnoxious of these disgusting mudbloods to wish for an apology. Especially from their obvious better.
"No, mudblood, I believe it's you who owes me an apology."
Lauren had learned long ago, in her early years at Hogwarts, that there were a lot of these spoiled pureblood brats who thought themselves to be better. What exactly was it that made them better? Their imbreeding? In her opinion, that wasn't exactly something to be proud of.
Besides, she'd had way to much of this crap the other day. She just didn't want to deal with another snarky match. It got her no where. And her temper had been on edge the whole week, ever since Monday, and what better way to relieve it than by taking it out on this Slytherin tart?
"Alright, if you insist..." So, dropping her book bag to the floor, she sighed deeply, smiling sweetly at Rae, almost a bit apologetic before winding her fist up and punching her right in the face.
"There's your apology. I hope it's to your liking."
((*dies* um... sorry... she uh... has a mind of her own? *runs away*))
((hahaha! hey, you know i LOVE this stuff. don't worry *grins*))
Rae's head whipped to the side as the left side of her face pounded.
What was with these mudblood Gryffindor bints and punching her? Were they that socially inept to know that you simply did NOT do that you your better? Or was it because those filthy no good parents of theirs never taught them proper manners and edicate? If this was 'the future' of the wizarding race then it simply was heading for a destructive end. She didn't even understand how Hogwarts could allow this filth through it's doors. It was unexceptable really. Wasn't there anyone to put them in their place?
And Rae's eyes suddenly narrowed into slits and a malicious smirk appeared on her face. How come she had not thought of this before.
With a flash, she drew her wand out and snapped out the spell, sending it straight at Lauren. "Furnunculus." That should at least hold her back for a few seconds before Rae could think of something better, after all it was quite elementary.
