This whole pet thing had taken a little getting used to. Juhi ADORED her little kitten, and she was completely convinced he was honestly the cutest thing she'd ever seen, and believed he would grow into a beautiful cat. What she was terrified of is that he would be ODD and it would be all her fault. She'd not actually been around cats much before, and was still figuring out how to entertain him; the care and the snuggly and the purring was easy, and luckily he seemed to know he belonged to her.
He'd trailed along happily behind her to the classroom, and now Juhi sat crosslegged on the floor, batting around a feather she'd pulled from one of her old quills. Bean occasionally reached out a tentative paw to swipe at it too, and she was very caught up in watching him, a smile on her face. Suddenly, his eyes tore away from the feather and Bean bounced across the room, heading for the partially open door. It was the fastest Juhi had seen him move, and it took her by surprise.
"OY! YOU!" she squeaked, scrambling to her feet and going after him. "Get back here, kitty kitty!"
