Dustin had done everything that he could possibly think of to be ready for this, and yet he was still a bit uneasy. He'd posted the notice in the common room days ahead of time, so that shouldn't have been an issue. He'd really look like a fool if no one showed up! He'd come out to the pitch twenty minutes early for preparation, already in his practise gear with broom in hand. After a lap around the pitch to clear his mind, he'd dragged the chest of practise Quidditch balls out onto the field, which proved to be a poor decision on his part. It was rather heavy, and he didn't realise until he'd already gotten to the middle of the pitch that he could have easily levitated the chest the entire way. Bugger. At least he was letting the nerves get the best of him now. That way he could hold a practise without coming off as a completely loony.
Currently he was standing next to said chest, broom propped up against the front of his shoulder and ready to be used. Now all he needed were some players, and his Captainship could begin! Hopefully the sevenths wouldn't give him too hard of a time... he was trying! Hard.
