"What kind of broom do you have again?" Trying to get a look at Dustin's broom, Matt couldn't tell which kind it was. "I plan on going outside Friday from around 10 to lunch, and then after I eat something back out till around 3. I need to practice accelerating if I plan to beat Emmy and Trefor."

"Do you know if the Ravenclaw team's been out yet? I haven't been paying much attention to the other teams as far as practices go -- just who's on their teams." Dustin must be paying attention to some of the other teams and how good or bad they're doing so far. Matt sure wasn't. He only cared about how the Hufflepuffs were doing, and if they were going to be ready for their first game.

"Honestly? I think that Gryffindors are a little full of themselves this year. Sure they have some good players, I'll give them that. But do they really stand a chance against the other houses? Ravenclaw's definately going to be on top of their game this year, Slytherin'll just want to slaughter them but probably won't accomplish it given the fact that they're being quite lazy, and we're going to give them as hard as a time as Ravenclaw will, if not harder." Looking at Dustin, Matt just sighed. He could really care less if their ego's were rattled or if they were considered a hard team; Hufflepuff was on top of their game and they weren't going down without a strong fight, and that was that. Sure, Matt had a few friends on the other team, but he sure wasn't close to them -- it's not like they were going to do anything to him, it was just Hogwarts Quidditch.
