Care of Magical Creatures: Week 010
Week Name: 'The Minister is Elected'

Kilpatrick sat on the fence of one of her pens, bundled up warmly and wearing a gentle sort of smile. She had a lot on her mind lately, but she had a job to do and didn't need the students knowing any of it. Years of practise had given her a good mask to wear in front of them. Very rarely did the students ever catch a crack in that mask and she wasn't about to give them a chance now. This week was to be a busy one, so her lesson plans had been changed quite a bit. She hoped it would keep the students on their toes with it, at least.
One of the hippogriffs was standing behind her, and she was idly patting him. Occasionally, she tossed him another ferret. She was keeping a close eye on the hippogriffs in her care, as they were only just recovering from that horrid spell of illness from last week. However, if her students were hoping for another lesson on hippogriffs, they would be in for a surprise. The creatures were much too temperamental when ill to have students poking about them today.
