Niki was very different than who she had been the past few weeks, there was a smile on her face, a song in her heart, thread in the needle, and her sewing in her lap. Wait. Sewing? What?
Yes, Niki was sewing her Halloween costume, just because it was a routine for her every year. She was almost lost in the massive amount of material surrounding her, rich purples, deep blues, vibrant greens, shiny, shiny golds. She seemed lost in a trance, and a little, that's what she was. She sang softly:
I will catch a giant By the toe, by the toe! I will catch a giant By the toe! Roar! Roar!
I will catch a troll By the nose, by the nose! I will catch a troll By the nose! Eaarh! Eaarh!
I will catch an elf By the ear, by the ear! I will catch an elf By the ear! Squeek! Squeek!
