Audrey walked down the hall, everything about her as emaculate as always -- her head held up high, nose slightly in the air, posture straight to perfection. The only thing that was different about her, was the secret smile she couldn't seem to rid herself of. Secret because no one besides her and Preston, and possibly now Wes, would know the reason behind it.

Oh, life was suddenly a million times better than it had been just the other day. She was in a great mood, that much was for sure.

Even if her and Preston couldn't be together, it was simply amazing to have everything worked out. They were friends, and would remain so, even if they were married off to people they didn't love. At least they found comfort in the fact that they cared about each other. No more awkwardness and no more angst. Or so she hoped ( ... )

Jonathan was busy in his head coming up with all sorts of amusing scenarios, trying to decide between them and which one he may be able to pull off on little to no notice. And in the middle of all that, he heard footsteps. Odd, as he really hadn't actually expected to run into anyone down this cooridor, which was one of the nice things about choosing this particular path.

There was a suit of armour against one side of the wall, drenched in shadow as there were no windows along this path, so he slipped in beside it. And then whoever it was seemed to actually just be walking by after a few moments -- had he really gone unnoticed? Amazing! His stealth was improving, clearly. He stuck his head back out from where he had hidden himself, though, way too curious about who may have been passing by.

Ah, look at that, Audrey Rochester. Smirking now, he extradited himself entirely from his 'hiding place.' He couldn't just let her walk on by, now could he? Ohhh, no. "Audrey," he drawled out to catch her attention. "Fancy, ah, meeting you here,

Audrey whirled around at the voice, wondering who on earth it could be this time! It seemed as if she was forever been snuck up on. God, was she that much of a magnit that people just gravitated toward her? Well, she wouldn't doubt it; she kinda rocked like that. And as long as it wasn't anyone below her, she wouldn't mind.

Ah, and look who it was... Jonathan Kincaid!

Not someone she had expected to meet in a random hallway such as this, but she would take it for what it was worth. Although her guard was up -- because hello! He was infamous for being known as a trouble maker.

"Well, hello Jonathan," She smiled warmly, backtracking a few steps to come closer, "Yes, fancy meeting you here..." Audrey glanced around the hall, seeing how utterly abandoned it was, "What on earth are you doing here?"

Jonathan grinned, a bit, when Audrey smiled at him and walked back to meet him. He took up his usual position of lounging against a wall, crossing his arms lightly over his chest as he looked at her.

"I could ask the same of you," he mused, glancing around a bit. "One would almost think that you've got some clandestine meeting planned, hmm?" Ha. He didn't really think that Audrey would plan such a thing, but then, who knew? Would be interesting, anyway, and this school could use some interest, now couldn't it?

But he decided he'd answer her anyway, and honestly at that. Who knew? "Me? I'm avoiding Study Hall, of course, because how useless is that?" Quite useless, obviously, and not worth his time. He had better things to do -- like talk to pretty girls in deserted hallways. Heh.
