She was here. That was all Ullrich needed to feel more relaxed, feel more confident about the job he had to carry out. Knowing that they were both in the same building, and that it would all be over soon enough.
He had arrived only two hours ago, and reported straight to the little village just outside the school grounds. It was quaint enough; perhaps like his own home but less run-down and poverty-stricken. He enjoyed the smallness, the quiet. It made knowing that he was to live there a little less frustrating.
As soon as he'd settled in and put away his belongings, he headed to the castle. He had yet to report to the Headmaster, and certainly wasn't looking forward to it -- he'd been warned that the old man was quite perceptive, but yet he also knew of a few presences within the castle that shouldn't be there either. If the Headmaster was letting in Death Eaters, surely he'd not catch on to a young man just trying to ... protect a certain young lady.
Which had obviously become his cover. After all, it made sense -- the German Ministry discovered that she was in danger, and having a loyalty to the country's daughter it sent an Auror to the UK who knew more about the situation. He was a saviour, a true hero to the cause. He was also a liar.
It was his plan to find Liesl, inform her of his presence and 'purpose', and then begin his task. He knew that the chances of performing the hit within the castle or even on the grounds were slim to none. He'd have to earn her trust, get her away from her guardians and protectors, make her feel safe with him. Then phase two of his elaborate, fail-proof plan would go into effect. Ullrich smiled to himself, knowing that victory would be his, very soon.
Now he strolled along the corridor in the West Wing, after having asked around for the young Slytherin. He'd been informed of a detention, and immediately set to finding out more so that he could catch her as soon as possible. Part of earning her trust would be coming to her first, before she could hear any rumours or make an opinion of him prematurely.
