Not that Anastacia ever did anything for anyone but herself, today marked a special day. It was Romey's birthday, and that was cause for celebration. Ana had busied herself supervising (and ordering) house elves to decorate the Slytherin Common Room for the occasion, and made sure Romey had her favorite vanilla cake decorated with light blue and green whipcream flowers and ribbons. And just in case, Romey didn't want vanilla, Ana made sure there were also several other cake choices, including chocolate, marble, and strawberry.
Ana wondered if Armand would attend, as he was close to both girls, but she thought he had been feeling ill as of late (or perhaps he was planning a surprise of his own to include the girls later when preparations were set). It wouldn't be as much fun if Armand didn't come, but Ana could carry hosting responsibilities on her own and Romey was her dear friend.
Satisfied with the look of the room, Ana sat down on the couch and waited for Romey to arrive. She had skipped out of the Great Hall earlier to get everything ready, and it would irritate her very much if the other girl stuffed herself with supper and ran off without stopping by (and without asking her along).
