Week Name/Date/Time: 'Countdown to Darkness' / Monday, October 24th / 12:49 PM
Location: Gryffindor Common Room
Open To: Avery
Currently Involving: Phillip
Taking advantage of the fact that everyone had left the common room empty for lunch, Phillip had risked leaving the boys' dormitory and settled into one of the overstuffed chairs near the fire. His glare warned off the few others who were still in the common room, and by now word had started to go round the Gryffindors that Phillip was in an abominable temper, so he his housemates left him a wide berth as soon as they spotted him. He even yelled at a few inattentive first or second years when they'd gotten too close and had started chatting happily, scaring them half out of their wits and sending them running for the portrait hole.
Not that he cared about any of that. He didn't want anyone near him, but he was bloody sick of his dormitory. Well, there was someone he did want near him, but she'd made it quite clear that was the last thing she wanted. And so he was left with only himself, his anger, his hurt and his sodding nosy housemates. He'd never thought lions were much for gossip and chatter before, but it certainly seemed so to him lately. A scowl seemed permanently etched into his face these last few days, but he took no mind of it.
He'd brought a few textbooks down with him, perhaps out of guilt for skipping so many of his classes already, but they were left untouched on the floor at his feet. He should have been in Transfiguration right now, but he didn't have any interest in one of his favourite subjects, and even less in the pretty professor. Instead he sat in the common room, staring into the fire with a wrathful expression for a long while, not bothering to look up or even notice the approach of anyone else.
