Jesse sat back in his comfortable chair he had dragged from the classroom next door, which was about the only decent looking thing in the class. He leaned back a bit further, almost falling over but knowing he wouldn't. It was actually rather nice... if he closed his eyes.
See, the room was ugly. Hideous. That was the only way to describe it. He had stumbled upon it a while ago, and then stumbled right back out. The walls were some blend of throw-up and blood-red, the carpet was beige and stinky, and the board was covered with obscenities. Many obscenities. He avoided looking at it, also.
He turned the page of his book idly, though of course Jesse wasn't reading it, waiting for the two girls to come in. He couldn't remember why they had gotten detention- some girly catfight, or something? Ah well. No matter.
Maybe, Jesse thought, this detention will be not horribly bad.
Pause.
Then he remembered he was supervising two girls- one from Slytherin, and the other from Gryffindor.
Scratch that thought.
