((yay chocolate! Oddly enough, I was eating chocolate when I read your reply O.o))

Hurm. Good question. "Nope, haven't got anything to do. Lucky you; you get to spend time with moi." He flashed her a rather cheeky grin while crossing his arms over his chest. No, he had absolutely nothing to do for the next two hours so me might as well mock a Gryffindor.

Yes, he was quite lucky that he didn't know that Iago liked it; that information might just destroy his soul.

And crying? Pfft, he never cried. Well, there was that one time in second year when he was hit especially hard but he was just a wee, likkle eleven year old! It wasn't his fault! Er, right. Moving on.

He looked offended at her question. "Of course I can be civil! I'm insulted that you doubt me. You may have even broken my heart." He gave a dramatic sigh, managing to look incredibly pained.

"I'll even give you a demonstration," he told her, clearing his throat before speaking again in a painfully chipper tone. "Hey, Blaze! I haven't seen you in AGES. How have you been? Quidditch/school/life in general going well? Love your hair like that; it looks wonderful."

Now he kind of wanted to shoot himself.

"Good enough?" he finished, finally resuming his normal tone.

((zomg, he's channeling Ari! *dies* And pfft, I've definitely done worse))

"As you should be," he responded with a nod, not at all caring that she was being sarcastic.

Gaspeth! Such crazy suggestion. Adrien was no masochist. He would prefer not to get hexed, kthnx. Especially if said hex messed up his appearance. Shallow? Adrien? Never.

Lies! She never made him cry. Well, much anyway. But that was one of those things that he didn't like to think about. Ever. As far as he was concerned, it never happened.

And her expression was priceless. He nearly laughed but managed to cover up his amusement with a cough. "Aw, but it was so much fun!" he pouted. "I was planning on talking to you like that everytime I saw you."

And he was how old again? 12? Pfft, maturity was overrated anyway. It was so much fun to act like a childish brat and he was quite good at it. Granted, that wasn't really anything to be proud of.

He narrowed his eyes to a glare at this. "You wouldn't dare." He had absolutely no intention of getting punched again. Besides, he was older now- though really not too much wiser- so he was perfectly capable of defending himself. "I'll just hex you if you do." He would probably hit her with everything he knew- well, try to anyway. You don't punch Adrien Bennet and get away with it.

Except for that one time which did no exist. He really needed to get through this denial thing. Right, moving on.

And she would deserve a hexing because she was being horribly sadistic. Ignore the fact that he deserved it.

"Ha, they have better things to hate me for." Still bitter? Of course he wasn't. "And besides, does it look like any of 'em are around?" At least the more influental upperclassman were out of sight.

Did it look like he was trying to annoy her? No, he really didn't want to try her. He didn't doubt that she would do something. Hell, she might just punch him for the heck of it, even if he did nothing.

Ha. Like he ever did nothing but let's just ignore that to make a point, kay?

The problem was he couldn't let her know that he was slightly afraid. That would be a Very Bad Idea. Instead, he ended up going with an even stupider one. "And you want to try me? You know I'll do something worse; I'm not a little boy anymore and I have no problem with doing anything to you." He really wasn't anywhere near as confident as he sounded. He was, actually, just as idiotic.

He only snorted at her answer. "If you missed it, I'm not going to tell you." Why would he? He didn't need to give her another reason to taunt him. Besides, it was something he'd rather keep to himself, thanks. Ignore the fact that the whole great hall heard. Pfft, petty details.

To hex her or not to hex her. That was a very good question. He was leaning towards the latter. Contrary to popular belief, he didn't always have to go around picking on other students. He didn't actually bully people unless he could get away with it. In this case, he doubted he could.

But now she was taunting him! That wasn't fair.

"Why would I waste the effort?" Still, his hand was inching towards his own wand just in case she tried to do something. "You're not worth my time, not to mention getting a detention over."

Like there was anyone around to give them a detention. But hey, you never know; there might just be a teacher lurking behind the corner just waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Fine, he was just a coward who valued his own hide. He didn't want to get hexed and/or punched. Well, there was a reason he wasn't put in Gryffindor.

He simply scoffed at this. "Like I'd be scared of you. I've seen first years more intimidating." Weakest comback EVAH? I think so.

And now she was grinning rather evilly at him and he narrowed his eyes suspiciously in return. Something was Very Wrong here. She was stepping towards him? Oh noes! She must have an ebil plot.

And dear Merlin, it was worse than he expected! She was ruffling his hair. The horror!

He made some sound of protest that sounded like a mix between 'nyah' and a whine and he tried to bite her arm.

What? It was easier than swatting her arm away. He's not completely immature, I swear.

He moved backwords, looking completely disgusted. He glared at her while raising a hand to smooth down his hair. "You messed up my hair! Sodding git."

Well, there were worse things he could have called her but once again, he proved himself an idiot. A shallow idiot at that.

He gave a disdainful sniff at her retort. It had gotten her to back off anyway, hadn't it? Though of second thought, he was quite glad that he hadn't actually bitten her. If he had, he would have gotten her horribly, disgusting Gryffindor/Blaze germs and he didn't think he would ever be able to recover from that.

"I'm quite proud of my good looks, thank you very much," he responded, "and I really don't want you messing with them."

Oh dear, he was just asking for it, wasn't he?

He looked rather frightened at her evil grin. She was defininitely plotting something and from appearances, it was going to me worse than the hair ruffling. Much, much worse.

Once again, his hand darted to his wand to prepare himself for whatever was coming. He was half tempted to run as fast as possible in the opposite direction like the cowardly little snake he was but then again, she would never let him live that down. No, he was going to stay and defend himself like a man. Or at least try to.

"Are you quite finished?" he asked, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible. "While this is all quite enjoyable, I have better things to do than stand around trying to amuse you."

There was really no point in trying to insult his looks. He was far too full of himself to take things like that seriously. Well, he was nothing if not arrogant. He scoffed again and rolled his eyes. He opened his mouth to make some retort but she beat him to it.

And she was taunting him? That wasn't nice. He wasn't scared! Well, not too scared anyway. "Oh yes, I'm positively frightened," he drawled. "I'm practically quivering in fear." His sarcasm ended there and he adapted a more serious, mocking tone. "You wish. I hate to break it to you, love, but there's absolutely nothing intimidating about you."

Except for that fact that, I don't know, she could actually properly use a wand? Pfft, minor details that were easy to ignore.

"Besides, just because I find you boring doesn't mean that you're at all terrifying."
