Note: I wanted to have an open thread before the week closes. This is BEFORE the howler incident and the meeting with Wes.
To anyone who'd not made the acquaintance of one Erik Cohen, this would be an odd sight indeed. But those who at least knew of Erik and his tendency to be... Erik-ish, this was nothing out of the ordinary, and so they passed on by without more than a nod of their heads. After all, why should they care if he broke his bloody neck? If he wanted to balance on the slanted railing of the staircases, then they had no choice but to let him do so. After all, if one did such a thing, they were most likely insane... and insane people did not listen to the voices of reason.
He wondered if you could die from a fall of that nature, but he wasn't sure he really wanted to know the answer at this point. So he lifted his left arm, wand in hand, and shouted dramatically.
"YOU SHALL OBEY ME STAIRCASES! SOMEDAY I WILL BE THY MASTER!"
... and he would.
