Severus sat at his desk, glaring straight ahead as he waited for the students to come in. It was obvious, by the mere curve of his lips, that he was not in all that foul of a mood -- however, it was also obvious that it didn't mean the best for the poor children. More likely than not? It meant that he was feeling up for some good, old fashioned humiliation.
On the board behind him was scrawled the assignment in his familiar handwriting; a simple few words that would explain their work of the day. He waited, watching, eager to see who would do as they were told and who would be daft and simply not understand. Imbeciles.
