She didn't mind the rain, really. As long as it wasn't getting on her. If she stayed dry, the rain could go downpour on anyone else it wanted. If she got wet, though, the rain was her worst enemy forever.
So she was pretty dry right now. Under the giant trees, there wasn't much space for the rain to seep through and get her. Plus she had her parents put charms on all her books so they wouldn't get wet. Unfortunately, not her clothes. The trees couldn't withstand Sunday's major thunderstorms, so the grass was all wet and so were Jeannie's clothes, since she hadn't had the foresight to think about the wet grass before sitting down. Between this pair and yesterday's at the lake, Jeannie wouldn't have many robes left for the week!
She looked over her things. Homework, drawing. Which one? Well, the one she wanted to do was obvious, but Transfiguration was at one and she had yet another essay to write. Gahh. Grumbling to herself, she took out her favorite quill (the new one, since her last favorite quill had broken) and parchment. Starting to write, she got about two inches in before she realized she didn't know what the topic was.
