Avery had spent the past half an hour in the Great Hall, not really eating much. She knew it could be the effect of the pepper-up potion she had taken for the past two days, and so she brushed it aside, hoping things would improve on their own soon. In fact, they probably would.
But now, her appetite was suffering.
Thinking that she had had enough, she gathered her books and walked towards the entrance, thinking of where to spend her next few hours. It was either the library or the common room anyway, since classes were over for the day. There were some major catching up to do for Defense, and also some reading up to be done for History of Magic. It wouldn't do to be left behind in her school work because of the slight cold she had the previous week, so now it was time to catch up.
She had almost made it to the entrance when she felt someone bump into her, almost causing her books to fall out of her arms. She gave a light yelp and looked at the person who had collided with her.
"Oh, Luc, it's you." Avery gave the boy a warm smile.
