Niamh was tired of being inside and wanted to get outside and into a tree. She wanted to think and get away from the large crowds of other students filling the castle. Cold, wet, awful, she didn't care what the weather was like, just so long as there would be fewer people around.

She strolled out onto the lawn, looking for a good climbing tree. She spotted one and headed straight for it. She was so caught up in her determination, she didn't notice anyone else in the tree as she started to grab the lowest branch, readying to hoist herself up.

She looked up and noticed someone else was already in the tree. "Er, hello. Er... do you mind if I climb this tree, too?" She gave the other girl an uncertain smile, hand still on the branch, but she waited for an answer before trying to go any farther.

Practice makes perfect really, which was why Peter spent a ridiculous amount of time running about the grounds trying to tone his Quidditch skills. Of course, he was easily distracted, and Quidditch is a sport best played with another person. So of course, when he caught sight of the 1st year Claw, he ran straight over. Broom in tow.

"Niamh! NIAMH HELLO! Who are you talking to?! Someone in the TREE?!" Peter came to a relative halt as he reached the tree, and looked up. OH it was that Slytherin in his classes. Camdyn it was!

Taking a deep breathe, he prepared himself to yell loud enough for his voice to reach her. As she was sooo far up and everything. "HELLO CAMDYN HOW ARE YOU IS THE TREE NICE THEN?"

What on earth? What were the odds of someone climbing the exact same tree as her at the same time? Perhaps it was an ideal spot or something. Camdyn didn't recognize the girl from anywhere, so perhaps things could be arranged. Tree space could be shared, and Camdyn wasn't always selfish.

"Hullo, yes, come on up. I'm espionage-ing. Perhaps you could be of assistance," Camdyn responded to her with a smile.

Had she brought someone along with her? OH BOTHER! It was that Gryffindor fellow from her classes... Peter whasshisface. Hmmn. She had yet to form an opinion on his character.

"HELLO PETER WHATSYOURFACE! ARE YOU FRIEND OR FOE!?" she shouted down through the branches at him.

"Thanks!" Niamh calledd, her smile warming as she began to pull herself up, "Espionage-ing? Sounds neat!" Not that she knew why anyone would want to do any such thing around here, but it would be nice to have someone to chat with, at least.

Then she heard her name being called and saw Peter below her, "Hello, Peter!" She didn't bother answering his questions, as the other girl had already shouted back to him. She finished hoisting herself into the tree and grabbed another branch, about to go higher.

She paused in her climbing and looked down with a smile at Peter, "Want to come up with us?" She didn't mention the espionage-ing, though, just in case the other girl didn't want him to know about it.
