Two down, nine to go! Who's the unlucky sucker for this round? :P
Ned continued to cringe behind Dean and the Doctor, who were discussing the ramifications of their situation, as Castiel kept a lazy guard over them. How did he end up in situations like this? Even with a rare...ability like his, why was he trying to fight off wizards and space bounty hunters and Merlin and Arthur.
"So," the Doctor commented, almost a little too lightly. "If we're going to stick together in what rapidly looks like a deathmatch, I suppose we should share what we can do. I own a screwdriver, what about you?"
"I can shoot," Dean answered, gesturing with his weapon of choice.
"Guns. Very good," the Doctor said.
They both turned to Ned. "What about you?"
"Uh. Nothing!" Ned stammered, rapidly crab-walking away from the pair. "Just an ordinary human being, who does ordinary human things - "
Unfortunately, Ned had the misfortune to crab-walk right onto the first dead body of the game. A flash of gold, and Homer blinked.
"Huh?"
"You are our new best friend," Dean said, grabbing Ned's arm and tugging him back towards Castiel the Fort.
"Huh - no, wait, I don't know what happened!" Ned yelped, now desperately flailing in an attempt to escape. Doubly unfortunate, the pie-maker smacked into Homer Simpson again, instantly returning him back to the dead.
The Tenth Doctor and Dean stared.
"Castiel?" Dean called out, still staring at Ned. "Castiel, we've got someone who can kill with touch."
"Why are you bothering me? You've got a gun."
"Oh no - "

Yeah, I'm pretty glad I'm not Ned right now. Dude took out my nominations, but he got 50% of the votes... Ouch.
Round 3 ends at 6PM UTC, and the next one opens at the same time!
- THE PRELIMINARIES - for this part only, characters are randomly placed in teams.

- ROUND 2 - A repeat of Round 1, only this time, characters are placed in twelve groups of four, and the one character with the most votes progress through to the Instant Death round. FINISHED!

- INSTANT DEATH - where the real fun begins! Typically a series of knockout polls where the character with the most votes is killed off over a 24 hour period. Any tie breakers? Both characters die then >D
