1) Being Polite vs. Being Right

Which do you think is more important to a Slytherin, a Gryffindor, a Hufflepuff, and a Ravenclaw.

Slytherin: Being polite. They aren’t in your face about anything, and this is the house I’ve always associated with politicians. It is more important to have a person on your side than to tell them you hate them. Being polite isn’t always the truth of how a Slytherin feels, but it serves their cause better to be polite than it does to be right most of the time.

Ravenclaw: Being right. However, being right with the correct facts to back you up. Ravenclaws don’t usually deal in grand philosophical concepts (not that they can’t of course). If they are right it is because they have several sources that back that up, and can probably tell you what they are. Also, when they are right, I doubt they are going to be polite in telling you that you are wrong. Flaunt that knowledge, no matter what form it comes in.

Gryffindor: Being right. However, this is the more….grand scale. They want to be right because they are helping someone, or a group of people. They want to be right because they are going to have an impact. They want to do the right thing as opposed to having the right answer.

Hufflepuff: Okay, both for this house. I think being right, in a similar fashion to Gryffindor, is important to them. However, they also want to be polite. Being anything else would hurt people, and Hufflepuffs are the kind house. Being polite is part of their nature. There are exceptions. For example, when they get into their heads those big “I’m doing the right thing” concepts like Gryffindor, then sometimes it isn’t about being polite. They want to protect, and if that involves hurting a few people, they can do that too.

2) What would your Amortentia smell like?

Okay, I’ve never actually been in love, nor do I have romantic feelings for anyone at the current moment. Since this is a love potion, it makes it hard for me to answer.

However, I would assume it would smell like chocolate chip cookies baking, the warmth of wood (like saw dust maybe or a fire. BOTH!), and car grease because that’s what I associate with home, feeling safe, and feeling loved.

3) Say you were at the end of the list to be sorted and one of your best friends was sorted into a house you don't like. Would you still hang out with your friend? Would you judge him/her?

I am actually at the end of the list alphabetically. :D

I would still hang out with said friend. Unless say they let their actions be influenced by people like Draco Malfoy or James Potter. However, the house isn’t what matters. It is the attitude. So no, I wouldn’t judge them based on their house, and I would still be their friend, if they’d have me.
