Last batch of the term, you guys!

Applicant #449
House: Slytherin

Best Trait: Intuitive/Perceptive
Worst Trait: Coldness
Do you like to have people around you, or are you more of a loner? I prefer my solitude, but I do also appreciate having one or two close friends around me when I begin to feel lonely. I don't like being part of a pack, herd, flock, etc. because I don't do well with so many personalities and the numerous chances for drama and dragonshit.
Are you more outgoing or shy? Do you think this would change when you are in your animagus form? I've become outgoing: I can be social, charming, and friendly but by nature I'm more of an introvert. This wouldn't change.
Please give an accurate description of your appearance; pictures are welcome! Androgynous sort of face, thin, high cheekbones...eh I'm bad at describing myself, so here's a pic

What kind of environment would you feel most comfortable in: air, water or earth? I am a water element technically and I love it, but I am more comfortable in the air. Air as an element is symbolic of intellect, thoughts, communication, coolness, and rationality- and at present (in the last four years) I find I identify more with these traits than with Water's symbolic traits of emotion, nurturing, sympathy, empathy, sensitivity, and escapism. Granted Water also deals with imagination and intuition (which I do lean towards), but I also feel these overlap with Air. That and I just love the freedom that air can give.
What's your favourite kind of weather? Cold and crisp, grey/hazy, windy
Favourite time of day (or night)? I'm nocturnal. I prefer the darkness, the light of the moon, and the stars.

Are there any traits you think you might like your animagus form to have? Wings (feathered), Medium to Small size, Markings (not necessarily exotic)
What capabilities is it important that your animagus form have? Flight, swiftness, keen sight, agility
Are there any traits or capabilities which you absolutely do not want? Capabilities: Swimming, slithering, hopping
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or have a connection with? Butterfly, Cat, Fox, Ferret/Weasel, Crow, Owl, Penguin, Rabbits
Are there any animals you are afraid of or strongly dislike? INSECTS (see SPIDERS), pigs/hogs, sheep/goats, ox, bison, sharks/fish, frogs/toads

Why would you like to be an animagus? I'd love to have the experience of being a particular animal. I want to travel and see all the places I can only explore in photographs. I also want to have the ability to spy on certain people and use the gathered information for my own purposes.

Applicant #450
House: Ravenclaw

Best Trait: Sweetness, I guess. I mean, I think of myself as a creative person, I love words, stories, I love to tell them, to draw them, but the creativity in me feels like a personal, self centered trait. I can apply sweetness with people; I can interact, outside of my comfy world, and be sweet with them. I can make them smile.

Worst Trait: Laziness. Sometimes, ok, most of the time, I get caught in my inside world and don’t move around the outside one at the pace I should.

Do you like to have people around you, or are you more of a loner?
Both, actually. I am, just like tons of people, painfully shy at first sight. You see, being raised practically as an only child gave me my space and I am very fond of that, I love my silence, I love my personal space and I love my loneliness. I need to feel at home to start joking. And then I don’t shut up. Ever.

Are you more outgoing or shy? Do you think this would change when you are in your animagus form?
Shy, definitely. As I said, I need to feel comfortable first to start socializing. I don’t believe that would change, but then again, animals are much purer than humans so maybe I wouldn’t be as afraid of them, as I am from my own kind. Lol, yes, I am crazy, why are you asking?

Please give an accurate description of your appearance; pictures are welcome! I am very plain looking, -brown hair and eyes- I am short (1.57 meters. I think that’s 5” 2’. I don’t know) and weight 46 kilos/ 101.2 Pounds. Here, have a picture ->http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt43/_Dalie/cv2.jpg

What kind of environment would you feel most comfortable in: air, water or earth? What's your favourite kind of weather? Cold please. I hate summer, I hate heat and I despise feeling a burning sun on my skin. I love cold weather, I love autumn evenings and winter mornings.

Favourite time of day (or night)? Dusk.
I love it when the sun is going away and the sky is a canvas of forms and colours. I enjoy the night, but the dark sky, the few stars the city allows to shine and the moon can get a bit bored. I love the transition, actually, from day to night.

Are there any traits you think you might like your animagus form to have? Don’t get eaten by humans please. I don’t want to turn into a duck just to be shut and cooked. I would love to fly, I really would but I won’t limit my animagus form to that :)

What capabilities is it important that your animagus form have? Good instincts. You see, in the animal world pretty much every animal has a sworn enemy, you know, that wants to eat it and I would love to avoid to be something’s dinner.

Are there any traits or capabilities which you absolutely do not want? I don’t want to be flamboyant, please. I don’t want to be a colorful bird, something that stands out.

Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or have a connection with? Dogs ♥ and possible wolves but I had never been in touch with said animals. There had always been dogs in my house and I love them. They understand so much, they love and allow to be loved so much. I like being in four legs, level with them and play.

Are there any animals you are afraid of or strongly dislike? Big spiders and cockroaches. No cockroaches for me, PLEASE. I mean, sure, they can survive very well but they really creep me out, especially when they fly.

Why would you like to be an animagus? Because I watched animorphs as a child. Because I love the idea of transforming into something else, I've always wondered how it would be to have wings and fly, to swing on the ocean with the grace or a mermaid. I have always wondered how it would be something else, how I would perceive the world and what things- as a human- I am missing.

Applicant #451
House: Hufflepuff

Best Trait: Openness. Is that a trait? I mean that I'm really open to others, to listening to them and to who they are. I like hearing about people and that they know I'm there to listen.
Worst Trait: High-strung. I get nervved up really easily and it's truly not healthy.
Do you like to have people around you, or are you more of a loner? I like having people around me. I've gotten much more comfortable with being by myself, but I tend to get too much into my own head and I really dislike that. I'd much rather be around friends.
Are you more outgoing or shy? Do you think this would change when you are in your animagus form? It depends on the company. If I'm around people like fellow scientists, I'm usually fairly outgoing. Throw me in a bar where I don't know anyone and I'll be really uncomfortable. I think I'd definitely be an outgoing, sociable animagus.
Please give an accurate description of your appearance; pictures are welcome! Hopefully, my photobucket will be working by the time this is posted. If not, I'll come back with a description.

What kind of environment would you feel most comfortable in: air, water or earth? Probably earth. I've always been very grounded, so I don't air would work. I do love the water, but I'm not a huge swimmer. I just love being near it.
What's your favourite kind of weather? I like it when it's sunny and not too hot, especially if it's rained the day before. The air smells really clean and it's the perfect time to read outside. I do love snow too, but I'd rather be inside watching it than running around in it.
Favourite time of day (or night)? I like it at like 2 or 3 in the afternoon. The light is nicest then and the hottest part of the day is over and people are slowed down and not running around everywhere (assuming they aren't late for class of course).

Are there any traits you think you might like your animagus form to have? Probably it'd be a pack animal. Something that cares for its young and old. Preferably a more intelligent animal, since the intellectual side of me is pretty important to my life. Curiosity, which is also pretty central.
What capabilities is it important that your animagus form have? The ability to live with others. I'm not a loner.
Are there any traits or capabilities which you absolutely do not want? Nothing in particular.
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or have a connection with? I've always really liked elephants and primates.
Are there any animals you are afraid of or strongly dislike? I really, really hate snakes (the animal, not the members of Slytherin!). I don't like how they move. I also would dislike being a rat, mostly because I work with them and there are parts of my job I would not like to experience.

Why would you like to be an animagus? Because I think there's a hidden side of everyone that you have to work hard to find, and I think parts of that would come out in my animal self. I'd like to know what that is. I'd also like the chance to experience the world from a new perspective. As a scientist, I can't even explain how much I'd love to learn what it's like to perceive and function as another being. That's the ultimate experiment.

Applicant #452
House: Hufflepuff

Best Trait: I am patient and loyal, I don’t want to hurt other people’s feeling but sadly sometimes I do. If I do so however, I always make it a point to make amends and learn from what I did wrong to that person so that I may avoid doing so again. I’d stick to those whom I love always, whatever the situation may be.
Worst Trait: I think my lack of seriousness on things that I should really get serious to. I find it hard to focus on what is expected on me, since I guess all the pressure and the setbacks I had in mind hinders me to get all serious. I find it hard to get going most of the time when I felt really down about this matter, but I’m trying (hopes not in vain) to be serious on things needed to be.
Do you like to have people around you, or are you more of a loner?I am more of a loner. I have an introverted personality. I tend to keep things to myself, I tend not to get myself too much attention because it irks me often times. I’m comfortable enough having my friends around, though I’d rather feel out-of-place when I’m with people I know I can’t really mingle well with. And I also tend to prefer working on my own, and I get much excellent end results if I do a work on my own, but having some help is definitely fine with me.
Are you more outgoing or shy? Do you think this would change when you are in your animagus form? I’m more of a shy person really, there’s this invisible audience always speaking in my head when I face other people, like when I discuss something and the like, but I guess, imy shyness is more due to the fact that I am afraid to get embarrassed in front of people, and it gets on the way. But nowadays, I can say my shyness is generally ebbing away, and conquering it in my own ways. I think when I’m in my animagus form, it won’t really be obvious, I know it just can’t change like Poof! but I won’t generally be as shy as I am at that time.
Please give an accurate description of your appearance; pictures are welcome! I am of Asian descent, a Filipina to be exact. I have dark brown eyes (wearing glasses), black hair, golden brown complexion. I’m almost 5’4” tall, I’m a bit overweight D: Here's a Picture

What kind of environment would you feel most comfortable in: air, water or earth? I’m more comfortable in water, because I tend to get this relaxing feel if I happen to be at a seaside or a beach. I do like forest and awesome landmarks of the environment, but I’m more drawn to water wonders of our environment. But I love the environment, and if I can have an animal form, it could still be of the three.
What's your favourite kind of weather? I like summer because summer season here in my country is just simply splendid; the sun, the beach and the mangoes~
Favourite time of day (or night)? I prefer early morning, because it’s the start of a new day, and I really adore sunrise. It’s peaceful and quiet and gets you psyched up for the day ahead.

Are there any traits you think you might like your animagus form to have?I like animals with paws, with fur because it's cuddly that way. It could have its unique marks and I don't like it having traits that could probably hurt (like super sharp talons).
What capabilities is it important that your animagus form have?I prefer my animagus to be really able to protect and at the same time be able to provide me comfort and security. It must be strong yet knows how to have fun too. But for innate capabilities, whichever animal is destined for me, I will like it (like if it could fly, swim etc.).
Are there any traits or capabilities which you absolutely do not want? I don’t like lazy animals. I’m already lazy, what would happen if even my animagus is lazy? And I don’t like animals who has a really predatory side, which can be dangerous and scare the hell out of others.
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or have a connection with? I’m drawn so much to cats. I just feel connected in a way because I often relate to how cats are, lazy yet affectionate, then they tend to get all meow-y when hungry, the way I tend to whine a lot when I’m also hungry, and the way I could find comfort from them when I’m feeling down because cats give a sense of “I’m here for you” feeling to me :)
Are there any animals you are afraid of or strongly dislike?I dislike creepy crawlies like spiders and stuff…and not such a fan of amphibians like frogs…and some reptiles.
Why would you like to be an animagus?Because the idea of having my animal form and counterpart is really great~ I am always fascinated by the idea of it coming from the books. It would be so cool and useful and informative.

Applicant #453:
House: Slytherin.

Best Trait: There are quite a lot of traits I like in myself. I like the fact that I am intelligent, analytical, creative, have a good sense of humour, am very independent and free-spirited and am loyal to those I care about. I could really write about any of those because I appreciate them all. I'm going to say my determination/perseverance (along with the ambition that goes with them *cheats*)
I've always been someone who dreams big and has a "why settle for less?" attitude. I'm not easily satisfied and I think that "settling", (if it's not what you want, obviously), is a waste of your life and it's definitely not something I can do. I just can't handle the idea of being forced into living an unfulfilling life, given that we only have one. My goals mean a hell of a lot to me and I am determined to make sure they become a reality. For instance, I decided as a little girl that one day, I want to be a successful author. It's not about the fame and wealth aspect (although I would enjoy that immensely of course ;D), but it's because I have a true love of writing and books. I'm very creative and my biggest ambition is to write something that will be loved, not just by me. I will work at it until I succeed, even if I get 100 rejection letters, I won't give up. It's just the type of person I am. I've even been told I am "too driven" because of my "never give up" mantra. It's not just in regards to my ambitions (because I have many others too), that I have this attititude but with everything. Whatever I do, I am determined to succeed at it. I really can't stand failure and although I've been told it's "unhealthy to want to be the best at everything", I really do want to be the best at the things I do. Personally, I don't think that being driven is unhealthy, but hey, everyone has their opinion. My determination and perseverance serves me really well in life overall though, not just where goals are concerned, as even when going through difficult times in my life, I know I can rely on that and myself and that is a comfort to me and motivates me more.

Worst Trait: There are also quite a few traits I posess that I'm not particularly fond of. I'm moody, I obsess about things, I have intrusive thoughts, trust issues (though given the choice between that and being too trusting, I'd pick a lack of it honestly) and althought it might not be apparent, I do have anger due to some painful things I've experienced in my past. I think a lot of people who have experienced painful or traumatizing things tend to have it too, at least it's something I've noticed quite often.
The worst trait though for me would be my depression and general unhappiness. Due to circumstances in my life, one for example being that I live in a place that I really can't stand and am unable to leave, for the moment anyway, I've not really experienced complete and utter happiness that I hear some talk of. I long to and I know what I need to do in order to achieve it, but unfortunately it will take more time. That depresses me. Another contributing factor is that I have a lack of Serotonin, ("The Happiness Hormone") in my body.
I've struggled with depression since childhood. I won't go into detail but my childhood wasn't the easiest or happiest and a considerable amount of problems and bad experiences in general, lead to me developing depression at a young age. I have a very melancholic side to me and my thoughts can become extremely unpleasant when I feel down, often resulting in me becoming extremely anxious and/or distressed. I have a horrible tendency to think far too much; about the worst experiences of my life, or things I fear happening when in that frame of mind. It's a vicious circle and it results in me feeling worse. I suppose you could say I'm an emotional cutter, because I torture myself in the psychological sense, forcing myself either relive bad experiences that had a strong effect on me or figuratively live through things I fear the most. I know most people experience that at some point, I just don’t seem to be as good at pushing it out of my mind as others do.
Worst Trait: (contd); This doesn't mean I'm constantly miserable though. Despite the fact that I am unhappy, I don't go around being all "woe is me" about everything. In fact I don't even discuss my feelings with hardly anyone at all. I hide my feelings and emotions well. Overall these things though, just motivate me even more to succeed in life, which I'm grateful for.

Do you like to have people around you, or are you more of a loner? I've always been quite a loner. I really do love spending time alone and have done ever since I was a child. Obviously, I like to be around/talk to those people I enjoy spending time with too. BUT I am not and will never be someone who needs constant company 24/7. In fact, that is extremely tiring to me. I need my time alone, to just be, you know? I find time alone to be really relaxing and feel really free when I am by myself. I'm also very productive when alone.

Are you more outgoing or shy? Do you think this would change when you are in your animagus form? I’m not a person shy, neither am I an extroverted social butterfly. I’m guarded until I am sure about the person in question. As an animal, that wouldn’t change, in fact it would be even more so. If I was an animal, I wouldn’t want to trust any other animal or human until I had proof I could. I have always thought that is one of the main reasons so many animals get killed, because a lot of them trust easily. So, no I would not be that type of animal. As I am IRL, I would be guarded at first, until the person/animal in question had gained my trust. If ever threatened, then I would attack.
As an animal, I wouldn't be much for being around humans to be honest. I can't see myself trusting them easily. I'm not saying it would be impossible for me to trust any human, as I think a steady relationship could be built up and my trust gained over time. As for other animals, I'd probably be wary of some (wouldn't want to be eaten or killed), and get along with others but probably stick to my own kind the most. In my Animagus form, I can see myself basically having the traits I have now. I'd have a some animals I felt an affinity with, (I would not trust humans in general. I could possibly build up a relationship over time but it would take a while and it wouldn't be every human either), but I'd enjoy being alone too.

Please give an accurate description of your appearance; pictures are welcome! EINS. ZWEI. DREI.

5'4, green eyes (they have flecks of blue and gray), very pale skin, English, Scottish, Italian and Sicilian heritage.

What kind of environment would you feel most comfortable in: air, water or earth? Earth. I don’t feel a connection to air, and while water is my favourite element and the one I feel most connected to, plus I adore the sea and being near it, I can’t swim.

What's your favourite kind of weather? Hot weather. I love warmth and detest winter and the cold because a) I get sick far too easily and b) Winter makes my depression a lot worse, plus I have SAD. I know most people tend to love winter but I just can’t stand the cold, rain, the damp and the gray looking buildings. It makes me so miserable. The cold doesn't agree with me at all and I have a lot of physical pain when I just can't warm, and I tend to feel tired a lot more during winter, due to the cold. Summer and the heat make me feel a lot more energetic, healthy and happier overall.

Favourite time of day (or night)? I’ve always been a nocturnal person. I have more energy and find I am at my most productive then. My favourite time of night is around 11/midnight onwards. I love being awake all night. I do function during the day too though, of course!
Are there any traits you think you might like your animagus form to have?
o1; I would want my Animagus form to be of the cunning and stealthy type. I’d want to be able to sense danger when in the company of other animals or humans and to have the ability to outwit hunters or anyone/thing else endaring my safety. So, cunning and strong senses really.
o2; Intelligence, of course. That one speaks for itself really, so I won't go on.
o3; Curiosity is another trait I'd possess. As an animal I would love to be able to explore nature more and places that are harder for humans to explore.

What capabilities is it important that your animagus form have?
o1; I’ve always thought that if I was an animal, I would want to be some sort of animal to be able to blend in with my surroundings in some way, because I would feel much safer.
o2; I would want some physical means of proctecting myself too. Whether claws, venom, bite, whatever. As long as I had some sort of defense mechanism when in danger.
o3; I'd also want speed. That would definitely be a must have in the animal kingdom.

Are there any traits or capabilities which you absolutely do not want? I wouldn’t want to be a naïve animal. There are so many dangers out there, I would surely be killed very quickly, either by humans or other animal predators if I was.

This isn't a trait, but it's something very important to me. I wouldn't want to be a domestic animal. I didn't stress this enough in my first application I feel and while I don't want this to be seen as "pushing", I really do feel it's important for me to stress how much being a domestic animal would depress me.

I’m an extremely free-spirited person and being trapped in a mundane life, or a life which is full of routine is basically one of my biggest fears. My biggest really, (excluding death of loved ones and my own death). To me, that would never be really living at all.
Unfortunately, I have felt this way since childhood, due to personal circumstances and life in general. It’s been the cause of much unhappiness in my life and as a result of feeling this way, in the past and currently, I struggle with depression. My main aim in life is to continue pursuing my dreams and my freedom and eventually break away, sooner rather than later, I hope.

This is the main reason I would not want to be a domesticated animal in my Animagus form. I would hate to feel confined to one particular house or area, and to live each day in a repetitive manner. As an Animagus form represents a person’s personality, I really think I made the wrong decision when choosing the Maine Coon, given that it is a domesticated feline. True, we share many similar characteristics overall but my free-spirited nature is one of my most (if not the most) defining personality traits. I’m really not the type of person to be chained to a routine. That type of lifestyle honestly makes me feel dead inside. I don’t mean I am unable to maintain loyalty in my relationships, I’d like to be clear about that, but I need to be free, in every sense of the word. I like to roam around and explore, I want to see parts of the world that I haven’t. I want to experience as much as I can while I’m alive, good and bad. I want to be fulfilled. That’s freedom. And it’s also what I consider to be truly living. I could honestly never see myself being happy if I was unable to be free like that.
Are there any traits or capabilities which you absolutely do not want? (contd); "A drifter is a wanderer. Drifters are self-sufficient anti-conformists who never stay at one place for a longer period of time, and continually move from one location to another with no fixed destination, living a completely free, fulfilling life."

That describes my personality really well. It also describes what I want from life really. When I filled out my sorting application at platform_934 and answered the "What would you see in the Mirror of Erised?" question, I wasn't entirely sure what to put, because I do desire many things. In the sense that I have many goals for myself, and eventually I want to succeed in all of those. What I truly desire most of all though, is my freedom, because it's my key to personal happiness. In all honesty, money comes into it in part, because money is a necessity unfortunately, and it gives you freedom in some ways.
If I were to answer that question again now, I would probably respond differently though, after having thought about this really thoroughly for the last couple of hours.

What I would see in the Mirror of Erised would be myself, driving down a road like this one. Deserts (along with beaches) are my favourite places, one of the reasons is because they symbolize freedom to me. One of my main goals in life is eventually to move to the USA (if and when I am able to) and see all of it. I want to travel all over by car, just going from place to place and seeing/experiencing/living through each day that way. It's what I've wanted since I was 5 years old and my aunt sent me a postcard of a highway in Nevada when she was on holiday there. The scenery was enchanting to me even at that age, and it looked so free. I decided that when I was "grown up" I would live in the USA and see it all. It was what I wanted even before I decided I wanted to "write stories as my job when I grow up!" when I was almost 6. (What can I say? I knew what I wanted from life at an early age I guess!)

The point to all this prattling is that I would see myself free in the Mirror. And that's because it's extremely important to me.

As I said at the beginning of this, the thought of being trapped in a routine/lifestyle that makes me unhappy for the rest of my life fills me with true fear. I know many people fear the unknown, but with me it's almost the opposite more or less. Living my whole life and spending every single day of it in a routine/predictable manner would honestly kill me in the figurative sense. Which is why I wouldn’t want to do be a domesticated animal in my Animagus form. I feel this is a vital part of who I am and so, being a domestic animal would not agree with me at all.

Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or have a connection with? Haunter and Umbreon. WHUT? Pokemon are real creatures! xD.

Okay, seriously, I’ve always adored animals, even the ones many are afraid of. For example; spiders! I'm really good with them too, so I feel a basic connection to animals in general. I honestly can't recall a single bad encounter with any animal I've had contact with. I think animals are really perceptive though, so I'm sure it's because they can sense when a person cares about them. I don't have a favourite animal, because it's just impossible to choose between them for me. And I prefer animals to humans, in spades.
Reptiles and felines are the animals I feel the most connection to, but I also relate to felines (especially feral and wild cats given that I wouldn't want to live in a domestic environment) too; they need their freedom, they’re independent, intelligent, curious, have a playful side, moody, they are survivors, fare well alone, loyal to those they love and standoffish with people they aren’t fond of etc... (I rambled on enough about that above! xD).
Are there any animals that you feel drawn to or have a connection with? (contd); I relate the most to reptiles, in particular chameleons and especially snakes overall. I've always felt deeply connected to these animals in every way. The idea of Therianthropy has always been something that's really interested me and also Native American Spirit Guides/Animals. According to the descriptions aligning with the Western Zodiac, the snake Spirit Guide fits me to a tee and even when I took an in-depth test to determine my Spirit Guide, the result was a snake and it's description extremely accurate.

Apart from the fact that I've just always felt a deep connection to snakes, I see a lot of similarities between my personality and theirs;

Snakes are really misunderstood, I find. Especially by people who have had no experience with them. This fits well with how many people don't know the real me really, and there's only one person who knows me 100% excluding myself.

Snakes are perseverant animals. That fits my own perseverance and determination.

Many snakes, can be loyal and good tempered as long as they are treated with love and respect. However, if not treated like that, they turn. And that’s very like me. If I am treated with love, loyalty and respect by you, in turn you have mine and you have it for life. But if you treat me (or the people I care for), badly in any way (I’ve been abused emotionally, verbally and physically in the past) or betray me, then I can be even more harsh than I can loyal.

They're stealthy creatures. I'm very resourceful and strategic person myself. I'm a great problem solver and always make sure I have a plan B and C beforehand. I'm also a quick thinker, which is useful. I've never been the type to rush into things hastily/recklessly without knowing what exactly I'm going to do.

My approach to things is similar to snakes really. Although I don't like waiting, I can wait years for something if I have to, until the opportune moment, in the word of Captain Jack Sparrow. I might appear impulsive to others, but it's only because I've not let on what I was planning. I'm really very cautious.

Snakes have heightened senses, so do I. My sight isn't great (I'm short sighted), but my smell and hearing in particular are very sharp.

Snakes may not be the strongest creatures, in the physical sense but they don't back down when faced with a dangerous/threatening situation. They rely on their protective mechanisms etc... to defend themselves. I'm very much the same. I don't go looking for fights or trouble. If someone is bothering me, the most they will generally get is a snarky/joking comment as people who desperately try to get a rise out of others aren't worth the time I think. I do have a temper though and if someone is really pushing/provoking me, I will tell them to back off, much like a snake warning a person by hissing or the sound of it's tail. If the person continues and gets worse, i.e; threatening me or someone I care about then I won't back down and I will fight back when I have to, whether verbally or physically. I don't allow anyone to intimidate me.

Snakes, generally will not attack unless they have a valid reason. They attack if someone intrudes (even the more irritable types who attack sooner rather than later), some even prefer to slither away. I'm the same. While I do have a temper, most of the time I force myself to control my temper because ranting and raving gets you nowhere, solves nothing an doesn't make you feel any better. BUT if I'm really insulted/provoked/threatened, I will lose my temper and although it can sometimes be somewhat explosive at appearance, it's actually really cold anger that doesn't die away as opposed to the hot headed type of anger, if you know what I mean. I have a vicious streak if you wrong me, someone I care for, or you've given me a true reason to dislike you (tried to/have succeed in hurting me etc...). And yes, I will eat you if you betray me or a loved one.
Are there any animals you are afraid of or strongly dislike? Very few. I'm afraid of some sea creatures, such as Squids. They really scare me. Also, some insects, such as caterpillars.

Why would you like to be an animagus? Oh, wow where do I start? I’ve said countless times throughout this app how much I love animals. And I really, really do. When I was a child, I always wanted to be able to transform into a dog, so I could spend more time with our then pet, Sandy. Anyone who knows me will tell you how much I love being with them, and how I would have all types of animals in my house if possible. I don’t eat meat and am against testing, fur, hunting… The best part of being an Animagus for me, would be the ability to experience how animals live first hand, see things from their perspective and of course to be able to make contact and interact with them as another animal. The idea of being an Animagus really, really appeals to me and I wish it were possible!
