*L* Thanks (sorry about the cavities) I find it interesting to see how a story that I perceive one way can be processed so many different ways by readers. From my perspective, this started as a fluffy toss-off that morphed into something a bit more as it touched on the ways that both Ray and Florian have been bound/restricted in their lives and how their relationship is helping Florian loosen those bonds a little through small acts of defiance.
