Dying and destroyed worlds are not rare. This Earth was made to study humans and, most recently, their fears. People from different worlds are brought in and forced to live through any and every sort of nightmares. Real Nightmares made to formally test and study how far the minds of the test subjects could be pushed. However the experiment started running out of funds. Budget cuts and such… Sacrifices had to be made. So instead of taking care of the test subjects, feeding and given them shelter, they were set free. Free to wander the surface and fight through the mélange of Nightmares that are quickly rotting the world away. A circle of tents with what may be the last creatures that are able to think past what they want to eat next. Though eating is high on most of their priority lists. These are the people brought in just like you as test subjects, following an odd, yellowish man through the ever shifting world. The people walk towards a possible escape. This is the final test, all they have to do is walk across a seemingly endless country and not be consumed by Nightmares.
