(no subject)
It is way too damn freaking hot outside!
Luckily for me, I work somewhere air-conditioned. So I get brownie points for being in on the weekend...AND I get to sit in air-conditioning as COLD as I want :) hehe
Unfortunately, I really should be at home cleaning. I know, I know, Sarah, you seem like you're always cleaning. Well, partially because my apartment has become the 5th level of hell, and partially because I haven't really been able to do any serious cleaning since the beginning of May....so, yeah, it needs it....BAD.
My dad is coming in a few weeks, so it has to be nice for him...it's a pride thing....oh yeah, and a being able to walk without stepping on shit thing too :)
I haven't really updated in a while. Work is going well...really really busy. I've been working long hours, and not getting nearly as much done as I should, due to the fact that I'm supervising everybody and their brother. It's a good learning experience, I will say that much.
Haven't really done anything terribly exciting....went to a family reunion last weekend, which was actually kind of fun. That was a first. Not as many people as usual, but no one really asked about my mom, which was kind of refreshing...they wanted to know about what I was up to instead. So yeah, actually starting to feel like part of the family :)
Next weekend is a special treat for me (not telling what it is), and then visiting with Jenny on her way through Indiana on Sunday, which will be excellent :)
Following weekend daddy comes, and it's Tina and Dan's wedding! Yay!!!
